Built on a simple idea.

Boxers need a fund. So we're proposing one that fighters build for each other.

Why we're doing this

There is no fund, no insurance, no pension and no retirement for most boxers. Thousands of fighters take serious punishment and end up in their thirties with damaged health, no education and no business experience, while a few hit it big.

The U.S. government has documented the problem for decades: a 2003 GAO report found comprehensive pension plans for boxers "almost nonexistent," and the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act called for a study of a national pension that never became one. GAO · Ali Act report

The Boxer Fund proposes a different route — not waiting for Congress or a union, but a voluntary pact among fighters, signed early, weighted toward the winners, and run by professionals.

Where we are today

  • The concept and proposed terms are published here for feedback.
  • We are building a founding list of fighters, gyms and partners.
  • Legal and regulatory review of the structure is the next step.
  • No fund managers, partners, sponsors or members have been appointed or signed.
  • Nothing is being offered or sold.

Be a founding name in the corner

We are building the founding list of fighters, gyms, and institutional partners who want to shape the pact before it launches. No commitment, no money — just your voice at the start.
