The pact

One pact. Every fighter. No exceptions.

The pact is what makes the fund work. It is binding, because every member is counting on every other member to keep their word.

Proposed terms — not a contract. This page summarizes the pact as proposed. It is not an agreement, and no one can sign it yet. Final terms will be drafted by counsel and are subject to legal and regulatory review.

Article 1 — Eligibility

Membership is open only to boxers who sign before their 22nd birthday. Members under 18 would sign with a parent or legal guardian, as the law requires.

Article 2 — Base contribution: 2%

Every member contributes 2% of their overall earnings from their boxing career and boxing-adjacent careers: purses, sponsorships, endorsement and other deals, commercials, media, and any business they get directly or indirectly as a result of their boxing career.

Article 3 — Top-earner contribution: 3%

Members whose earnings exceed a threshold contribute 3% of gross proceeds. The threshold is to be set with actuarial and legal advisors and will be published before launch.

Article 4 — Remittance through representatives

Members agree to facilitate contributions through their managers and representatives — for example, by authorizing the manager to remit the contribution to the fund at payout.

Article 5 — Professional management

The pooled fund is to be managed by institutional investors and seasoned fund managers under a written investment policy. No manager has been appointed.

Article 6 — Benefits

Fund returns are paid out to support members who did not end up making money from the sport, with education and career-transition support. Criteria to be defined.

Article 7 — Enforcement: the pact is binding

The fund only works if every member keeps their word. A fighter who stops contributing isn't just breaking a promise to the fund — they're taking from the sparring partner, the journeyman, and the kid who got hurt at 24 and never fought again.

So, as proposed, a member who fails to contribute faces a penalty: the fund may sue for three times (3x) the amount owed. The penalty exists to protect every other member, and the expectation is that it rarely, if ever, needs to be used. Its exact form and enforceability will be determined by counsel in each relevant jurisdiction.

Be a founding name in the corner

We are building the founding list of fighters, gyms, and institutional partners who want to shape the pact before it launches. No commitment, no money — just your voice at the start.
