How a pact class could play out
A simple illustration of the contribution math. Every number on this page is made up for illustration only.
Meet a hypothetical class of 2026
Imagine five fighters, all signing the pact at 19. The top-earner threshold is assumed here at $1,000,000 lifetime gross purely for illustration — the real threshold is to be set.
| Hypothetical fighter | Career outcome | Lifetime boxing & adjacent gross | Rate | Lifetime contribution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| "A" — the champion | World titles, endorsements, media | $20,000,000 | 3% | $600,000 |
| "B" — contender | Solid pro career, a few big nights | $1,500,000 | 3% | $45,000 |
| "C" — journeyman | Ten years, mostly small purses | $250,000 | 2% | $5,000 |
| "D" — injured early | Retired at 24 after an injury | $40,000 | 2% | $800 |
| "E" — never turned pro | Amateur career only | $5,000 | 2% | $100 |
| Total paid into the pool by this hypothetical class | $650,900 | |||
What it means for the champion
Fighter A keeps 97% of everything. The 3% is the price of having been insured during the years when nobody — including A — knew they'd become a champion.
What it means for everyone else
Fighters C, D and E put in comparatively little, but the pooled money — invested by professional managers — is what would fund payouts, education and career transition for members like them. The exact benefits would depend on fund performance and rules still to be defined.
Be a founding name in the corner
We are building the founding list of fighters, gyms, and institutional partners who want to shape the pact before it launches. No commitment, no money — just your voice at the start.
